Department for Business and Trade & Health & Safety Executive Webinar - Hosted by CIA

By Webinar

No charge

Open to CIA Full Members Only on 24 April 10:00 - 11:00 – Free of Charge. Registration Closes COB Wednesday 22nd April.

The full announcement is available here: Business Secretary backs British scaleups with growth package and red tape review.

The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have engaged with business organisations, trade associations and businesses as part of the review.

CIA is hosting this webinar for DBT and HSE so the chemicals industry can
contribute its experience of:

any administrative burdens associated with health and safety compliance,
any sources of H&S information it uses for their compliance,
any additional third-party requirements it encounters in compliance, and
the industry’s application of as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP) principles.

The webinar will be held under the Chatham House rule – that is, DBT and HSE will use the information you share in the webinar but it will be anonymous: nothing said may be attributed to any participant individual or organisation.

Webinar Objectives

The webinar will allow the chemicals industry to share their experiences of the health and safety administrative regulatory environment. DBT and HSE are particularly seeking specific examples of duplicative/administrative activity (time/cost where possible) and practical changes that would reduce burdens without undermining safety.

Please register by COB 22nd April.
