Climate Change Agreements (CCAs) are a voluntary agreement between UK industry companies and the UK government (administered by the Environment Agency). By agreeing to energy reduction targets, the Operators receive significant discounts on the Climate Change Levy (CCL), a tax added to electricity, gas and some fuel bills. You have a CCA as you conduct ‘eligible processes’ within the chemical sector. This course will provide an overview of the current CCA scheme, your obligations, responsibilities and upcoming actions for TP6 Reporting as a CCA holder, and how your performance is measured and reported against your targets.
