Target audience
The conference is aimed at all companies involved in the manufacture, use or supply of Hydrofluoric Acid including chemical, engineering, and oil refining businesses. The programme developed by CIA’s HF Sector Network is specifically intended to be of direct benefit to managers, SHE departments, engineers, supervisors, operators, laboratory staff and medical/nursing staff – and also to suppliers of equipment and services for HF users.
If you work with HF, this conference is a ‘must’ for the latest information and an essential part of managing HF safely and protecting people.
Why attend?
Anyone working with Hydrofluoric Acid should understand its particular hazards – it requires very careful management of the risks to prevent incidents and accidents and protect asset integrity. The CIA Annual HF Conference covers best practice in key aspects of work with HF, managing equipment, avoiding incidents, and treating any HF burns that do occur. Key themes this year will cover all aspects of work with both anhydrous and aqueous/dilute HF acid.
We also invite service providers, equipment manufacturers and PPE suppliers to exhibit at the event – which can provide you and your company valuable insight into new products and services essential to helping you manage HF safely.
After Conference Dinner MealThere is an after conference dinner at Restaurant Bar & Grill after the event, which many attend and this is free of charge to all delegates who attend. Please let us know on events@cia.org.uk if you wish to attend as places are limited.
